Halloween just passed, with ghosts, goblins and vampires camping it up through London’s chilly streets, haunting pubs and events.
Some were even present at our press and influencers mixer—but even costumed characters, social media influencers and press from the likes of The Telegraph, Vogue and Love Magazine couldn’t quite steal the show from Lark & Berry’s cool jewels with a conscience.
You might have already heard on our social media and if not, you will, as lines Tuesday night to get ears pierced and studded with our new 14k gold and cultured diamond capsule jewelry line backed up for 2 hours or more.
That’s right, it wasn’t enough that we feature the coolest, most luxurious cultured diamonds around… now, Lark & Berry want to help you look your best from the ground up with artful piercings in our new in-store piercing and art studio, now open for bookings!
Lark & Berry’s Halloween event to launch our piercing packages was a packed house all day and night. Guests enjoyed Halloween themed drinks, desserts, a DJ, magician and of course, ear-piercing—the line for which was backed up all evening.
“I asked people what they liked about it, and all night, people were saying they loved all the tips and creative advice given by our piercing artist,” Laura, our founder remarked at the launch.
“Our artist took time all night with each party goer to artfully pierce—to best accentuate girls’ looks. And that kind of attention to detail will continue in November when this opens to the public. These are no shopping mall piercings. It’s a true art!”
Our piercing studio/art space will feature new works from rotating, popular artists every 8 weeks. This November sees London-based artist Bee Beardsworth’s (Vogue and Tatler) work featured. Bee’s concept is a colorful wall installation that embodies her love of nature and flower mythology.
“These flowers in my piece inspire and ground me in a way that I often struggle to find living in the city. I think it’s vital that we remain connected to our natural selves in order to remain in touch with our humanity. I thought this piece was a great match for Lark & Berry, who I am thrilled to work with. They have taken the bold step to only use cultured diamonds and stones in their jewelry, which have minimal environmental impact in comparison to mined stones.”
Prices for piercings in our Marylebone store begin at £95, which includes a piece from a new 14k gold and cultured diamond capsule collection. Options range up to £450 for diamond and sapphire adorned larger pieces.
Come by our store for a great new addition to your look and stay to chat and see Bee’s beautiful art installation!
